But who are these unsung heroes? What drives them, and how do they contribute to making your Giftly experience seamless and special?

We want to introduce you to some of the incredible people working in fraud prevention and customer service at Giftly. These are the folks who make sure your transactions are secure, and your recipients’ questions are answered promptly. 

By sharing a bit about their roles, their passions, and their thoughts on Giftly, we hope to bridge the gap between our users and our team, bringing us all a little closer in this vast digital space!

What’s your role at Giftly and how long have you been at the company?

• I've been a part of Giftly's Fraud Team since August of 2021. - Jan Zari

What’s your favorite part about working at Giftly? 

• My favorite part is the flexibility - it works so well for my schedule and provides a work-life balance which is really important to me. - Leighandra Shenk 

Before working at Giftly, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

• I was running a camp for a major music festival in Eastern Europe, welcoming people from all around the world. - Sladjana

If you could teleport to any location for a lunch break, where would it be? 

• 100% it’s Kaş, Turkey … I can just see it, the sun is setting (I’m changing the setting from a lunch break to an early evening dinner!) I’m sitting sea-side, traditional Turkish music playing in the background, as I’m served a few tapas of locally grown olives, fresh tomatoes and feta, yogurt dip with homemade naan and then finish off with whatever the catch of the day is and a glass (or two) of Raki! - Christen Rodgers

What's your favorite way to unwind after a busy day at Giftly?

What's a talent or hobby you have that might surprise us?

• My ability to kill all types of houseplants is unmatched! - Jan Zari 

What's the most memorable gift you've ever received?

• My partner took me to my first all inclusive resort for my birthday one year and it was all I could talk about for a while because it was truly a very spoiled experience and something to remember about. - Colleen Lau
  

If Giftly were a superhero, what would its superpower be?

• Giftly would be a superhero with precognition super powers. We would always know one step ahead what issue a customer is having so we can best assist them and resolve their issues. - Colleen Lau
